Arkansas got its second commitment of the day Friday when Sulphur Springs (Texas) defensive end Colton Nash contacted the Razorbacks with the good news.
Nash, 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, 4.8 seconds in the 40-yard dash, is the 30th player to commit to the Razorbacks for the 2009 recruiting class, which also includes two additional spots from last year. Nash is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 35 strongside defensive end prospect in the nation.
Nash has also taken an official visit to Colorado. He had one scheduled for Oklahoma State on Jan. 30 but won't take that visit now, and he also cancelled opportunities this weekend.
Nash said Tech and AU were his second favorite teams.
